A few tips for Mac users...

This was written by a guy called Elvis, I thought i'd post it here as to clear up a few common problems you Mac users have.....

Dear fellow Mac types, a few things to make your life easier:
1. Use UnRarX or RAR Expander for RAR files.
2. DO NOT use Stuffit for RAR files, ever! It's OK on ZIPs, but even then, be careful.
3. Often keygens will be Windows files. They must be run in Parallels or Fusion or CrossOver on Intel Macs, Virtual PC on PPC Macs, or on an actual PC.
4. Read the .nfo file! Here's a great OS X program to read .nfo files: NFO Viewer
5. Ask for help before shouting that something doesn't work.
6. Enjoy life!

Mac users (just as windows users) won't need an NFO reader, just ctrl-click it and open it with Text Edit (like wordpad in windows)

Out of curiosity, where would be a good spot for requests? Looking for Deckadance for mac :S

Ey Mac-users,

Those who need Antares Autotune, there is a plugin bundled in Logic Pro (part of Logic Studio 8), called "Pitch Corrector" that is just as good as Autotune. "Pitch Corrector" coupled with Celemony Melodyne should be able to handle all your voice correction efforts.

Just thought I'd say that I use Stuffit Expander on 99% of these files and it works fine. I've only had a problem with one download using Stuffit Expander, so I just used RAR Expander. Is there any reason in particular that you're suggesting not to use Stuffit?

I do. waddya need?

Don't fuck around. Stuffit sucks. End of story. Here, use this.
http://rar-expander.en.softonic.com/mac

for running keyges, etc., use this:

Don't argue, don't debate, just use this stuff, and get to work making music. That's the whole point, right?

I've got a little app called KeyGen Runner that works great with keygens. Just drag+drop keygen on app icon and give it 20-30 seconds, and keygen is good to go. Somebody made the app using wineskins. But for the life of me, I can't remember where I got KeygenRunner from! Brainfade! I may have got it from codez4mac.
